Reaching out to others

The Fellowship Place is a ministry called to demonstrate hospitality to all people. Hospitality is another one of our essential values. Hospitality is dear to our heart. We are hospitable people.

The Scripture says, “Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers” (Hebrews 13:2).

We show our hospitality by aiding in the community life in which we seek to serve. Therefore, we respond by being relational as we show love to community by meeting the needs of the community such as feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, providing shelter for the homeless, listening to the communities’ problems and being a good neighbor.

We are a relational congregation that seeks to welcome all of God’s children with love, support, worth, respect, dignity and value. We are all on this faith journey together and we choose to risk, reach and run towards people to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ. We reach out to others by using our imagination, our creativity and taking the initiative to express the love of Christ with our neighbors.

Yes, we believe that we are called to do and be, “Hands Extended, Hearts Mended and Souls Blended,” as we reach out to others.

It is our sincere hope as we welcome and are hospitable to people that they see His love in action in us as we reach beyond ourselves to demonstrate Christ’s love for us all.
